Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Honestly, we're not trying to track you. Here's what we actually collect:

  • Local Storage: Your progress, settings, theme choices - all of it stays right there on your device. We literally cannot see it. No exaggeration.
  • Anonymous Usage Data: We use analytics that don't identify anyone. No names, no emails, no tracking cookies. Just basic stuff like which features people use so we know what to improve.

2. How We Use Information

Anything we do see is only used for:

  • Remembering your progress so you don't start over every time
  • Figuring out which parts of the tool people actually use (and which ones they don't)
  • Fixing bugs when things break - we actually pay attention to error reports

That's pretty much it. We're not selling data to advertisers. We're not trying to build a user database. We just wanted to make a useful tool.

3. Cookies

We use the bare minimum:

  • Essential stuff to keep the site running
  • Remembering which theme you picked (we know you spent time choosing it)
  • Anonymous analytics if you've got them enabled

What we DON'T use: No ads, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting, no creepy stuff that follows you around the internet. We hate that too.

4. Third-Party Services

We keep this list short:

  • Google Fonts: Makes the site look decent. Fonts come from Google's servers.
  • Hosting: Where we host the site - usually Netlify or Vercel. They've got their own privacy policies, which are pretty standard.

We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook pixels, or any of that stuff. If we ever add something new, we'll update this section.

5. Children's Privacy

Made this tool safe for kids from the start. We don't collect any personal info from anyone under 13 - or anyone else for that matter. All their progress stays on the family device. We'd recommend a parent or guardian keep an eye on things for kids under 13, just standard internet safety stuff.

6. Data Security

Your data stays on your device - local storage only, never sent to us. If you're on a shared computer and worried about someone seeing your progress, just clear your browser data when you're done.

7. Your Rights

You've got complete control:

  • Clear your browser's local storage anytime - deletes all your progress
  • Turn off cookies in your browser settings if you want to minimize data collection
  • Use the entire tool without creating any account or telling us anything about yourself

No account means no data to request. Everything's already yours.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we'll update the date at the top. If you keep using the site after any updates, that's your acceptance of the new terms.

9. Contact Us

Questions? Something confusing? Found something wrong? Here's how to reach us:

  • Email through our profile
  • Contact info on the About page

Fair warning - we don't have a contact form because that would require storing email addresses, which we've deliberately avoided. But we do check messages regularly and actually respond.
